Le module mixte numérique Profinet R-8AI-8DIDO est conçu pour répondre aux besoins de câblage flexible, d'espace d'installation limité et d'applications à haute densité d'E/S avec des capacités de mise en réseau intégrées. Avec deux ports Ethernet 10/100 Mbps, ce module offre 8 entrées analogiques et 8 canaux numériques, chacun configurable individuellement comme entrée ou sortie numérique. La configuration est possible via un serveur Web avec support HTML5 ou un commutateur DIP.
Le module peut être connecté en mode Ethernet en guirlande avec contournement des défauts, garantissant la continuité de la connexion Ethernet même en cas de défaillance d'un module. La configuration est facilitée par des logiciels tels que softPLC CODESYS et l'environnement de conception TiA Portal/Simatic Step7.
