R-SG3 Profinet is een compacte converter voor rekstrookweegcellen. Metingen, uitgevoerd met een 4- of 6-draadstechniek, zijn beschikbaar via Profinet IO-protocol. De gevoeligheid van de weegcel varieert van 1 tot 64 mV/V. De module is een configureerbare webserver. De R-SG3 wordt aangestuurd door een 24-bits ADC en onderscheidt zich door geavanceerde functies (stuksteller, automatische tarra-reset, drempelalarm, automatisch te upgraden firmware) en flexibel meetbeheer (metingen beschikbaar in zowel integer als floating point, meting kan worden gestabiliseerd door ruisfilter, configureerbare resolutie).
